Low investor confidence in the Gulf


Investor confidence in the economies of the GCC countries last month by 2.4 points , according to a report issued by investment bank Shuaa Capital , UAE on Monday. The report pointed out that the decline in investor confidence was the biggest in the UAE, and pointed out that concerns about the development of Dubai's debt is keeping investors are increasingly uncertain about the region. In January withdrawn by Standard & Poor's credit ratings to classify a unit of Dubai Holding, with increased concern among investors about the emirate , and Dubai's main index lower by more than 11% since the beginning of the year so far. The beam shown in its report that Saudi Arabia was the only country in the region which has seen a positive increase in confidence , and increased confidence index investors in Saudi Arabia rose 6.6 points to 142.4 points.
